Ffordian Ffilms
Before hitting it big with The Eyre Affair, Jasper spent nearly 20 years in the film industry. He started in 1981 as a runner (read that as tea and copy boy) on the set of The Pirates of Penzance and moved his way up to be a focus puller and later to be a camera operator on a variety of films. He also "guested" on several projects, most notably, Eyes Wide Shut with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.
It wasn't necessarily the perceived excitement of the film industry that drew Jasper in. Rather it was the story. From the time he was a young boy of about 10, he always dreamed of being involved with the story and he saw movies as being the best way to do that. Even during his time in films, he was busy writing for his own pleasure. He still writes for his own pleasure but thankfully, now his adoring readers get to join in!
Jasper has also worked on over 500 commercials from Levis to Vauxhall to COI to Toilet Duck, in such locations as: Canada, USA, Mexico, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Kenya, Morocco, Scotland, South Africa, Namibia, Malaysia, Thailand, Wales, Vietnam, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Swindon, Finland & Russia.
